Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using SirWritesALot (the "Service") at sirwritesalot.co, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use the Service. These Terms apply to all visitors, users, and others who access or use the Service.

2. Description of Service

SirWritesALot is an AI-powered SEO content editor that allows you to analyze competitor pages, generate keyword data, write and optimize content using AI, and apply brand intelligence tools. The Service is provided on a credit-based model with optional subscription plans.

3. Account Registration & Credits

To access the Service you must create an account using a valid email address. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activity under your account.

Credits are the in-Service currency used to perform actions such as creating editors, running competitor analyses, and generating AI content. Credits are non-transferable and may not be exchanged for cash. Subscription credits are granted monthly and roll over to the following month. One-time credit packs do not expire. Credit balances are non-refundable except as required by applicable law.

4. Acceptable Use

You agree not to use the Service to: (a) violate any applicable law or regulation; (b) scrape, crawl, or index any third-party website in violation of that site's terms of service; (c) transmit harmful, offensive, or infringing content; (d) attempt to reverse-engineer, decompile, or extract source code from the Service; (e) resell or sublicense access to the Service without written permission; or (f) use automated scripts to consume API credits in excess of normal usage patterns.

SirWritesALot reserves the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these rules without prior notice.

5. Payment & Billing

Subscription plans are billed monthly via Stripe. By subscribing, you authorize SirWritesALot to charge your payment method on a recurring basis until you cancel. You may cancel at any time from your account dashboard; cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period.

One-time credit packs are charged immediately upon purchase. All payments are in USD. Prices are subject to change with 30 days' notice.

6. Intellectual Property

All content you create using the Service remains your property. You grant SirWritesALot a limited, non-exclusive license to process your content solely to provide the Service.

SirWritesALot retains all rights to the platform, its underlying technology, trademarks, and UI. Nothing in these Terms grants you any rights in the Service other than the limited right to use it in accordance with these Terms.

7. Disclaimer & Limitation of Liability

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranty of any kind, express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, SirWritesALot shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including loss of profits, data, or goodwill, arising from your use of the Service. Our aggregate liability to you for any claim shall not exceed the total amount you paid to us in the 12 months preceding the claim.

8. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your account at any time for violation of these Terms or for any other reason with reasonable notice where practicable. Upon termination, your right to access the Service ceases immediately. Unused subscription credits are forfeited on termination; credit-pack balances may be refunded at our discretion.

9. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of material changes by email or by posting a notice within the Service at least 14 days before the changes take effect. Continued use of the Service after the effective date constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
